Our Beliefs:
At Breakthrough Academy, we provide an opportunity for children to learn through their unique learning strength using Gardner's Multiple Intelligences theory and multisensory, structured, systematic, and explicit instruction. We allow learning in our school to be collaborative, socratic, and democratic. Our small, multi-age classrooms foster inclusionary learning based on the Common Core Standards, yet caters to the unique learning needs and motivation of each student.
Research shows that when taught in the style we teach learners are engaged, they learn how to learn, and they grow into life-long learners.
